Basing myself on actual design, they rarely create a trait that does more than one thing.
It could be like Nascent Chaos and mix in both Shotgun and Buzzsaw but I doubt it would also add the second charge. Also, you have Nascent Chaos trait and Inner Chaos action to learn separatlyqqqq.
We also have no confirmation that those actions needs Reassemble, it's possible but not confirmed.
What makes me think (and hope) that it's not the case are the 20 extra battery.

What's the point of giving another charge on Reassemble if you will still use it on the same action? At top, if you drift Drill, you could lose 1 or 2 reassemble per pull. Not something worth giving a charge.

No, it's based on if we still learn something every 2 levels.
If MCH gets Shotgun, Rea 2nd charge, Buzzsaw and Queen finisher, then something is missing.

I doubt every job will learn somthing new every 2 levels much less MCH which had much less to talk about. Rather not get my hopes up and even so thiers only so much a trait can do.

On your reassemble argument, I think they are trying to make it easier to align it with said actions (laughable argument as it’s so one note that I don’t think anyone had a issue with it) but he LL said not to waste it and allowing it to charge? Which makes zero sense why anyone would wait 58 seconds when both skills have less of a CD than reassemble. Unless the skill itself resets, this sounds like fatty design but can’t tell until the patch notes.

“With this ability being charged you don’t want to waste, once it’s charged up so much sure that you are strategically placing it then allowing it to build up as needed”

“The rest of the adjustments are just primary actions being added, we have not changed the concept of trying to keep the number of abilities that are assigned to your hot bar and still play comfortably”

Every non-expansion job has historically gotten at least 5 advancements, generally divided between actions and traits.

The older a job is, the more likely it is to get more advancements to patch up design holes that appear as conflicts with more modern design arise.

So yes - There's likely one MCH advancement that's gone unlisted, but it'd have to a game changer to matter.

Since ShB, mch doesnt get a trait or a skill at lvl 62 and 68, so we are never sure

    This is post rework.
Lv62 was Cooldown (heatblast) moved to earlier level (35). Lv68 was Overload, moved to 40 along with the turret.

Am I the only one that cannot abide playing a "gunslinger" class that has you perform pointless olympic level gymnastics while shooting a target?

Sure, just standing there holding still might feel boring, but good lord have the game designers never actually shot a gun?

Try performing a backflip while shooting a moving target and see how that works for you.

I bet they haven't even summoned a primal, or shot a bow, or swung a greatsword, or did a spinning jump axe cleave, or...

This is a very good conversation tbh, the Devs May not have the best idea for a gunner base class, as seen here due to its heavy reliance on gcd gadgets, maybe due to culture reasons? Gun slingers are more popular as a western phenomenon. A silly argument can be made that “MCH was never intended to be a gunner” despite having a gun and all. But rarely do I stumble on MCH aesthetic identity as a issue, most likely blinded by the flare and visuals, like how SMN ppl are acting rn

MCH is more like Matrix Keanu versus something like John Wick Keanu. Older Hong Kong gun battle movies had a lot of acrobatic flips and spins while shooting guns. Modern Warfare style gun shooting is visually more boring, even if its more realistic.

Turning MCH into yet another cover shooter would be bad in a fantasy game. Give me Quake Live or Unreal Tournament over Gears of War in this game.
