The sheer lengths that people go to, to justify bad behavior is astounding. Seriously. LMAO.

You want to change things to suit your needs that is the truly selfish part.

Again I don't specifically mean YOU I mean those who complain about people enjoying content that was clearly designed to be watched and enjoyed to further the plot of the story. I don't understand what some people think when they are told this is a STORY centric MMORPG. Not a jump in and hack and slash game.

So the option of being able to skip cutscenes and pull mobs/bosses while others are in a cutscene is the way developers intended for them to experience the story? Because if they truly did, no one would have a skip option and you would be locked inside a little area like when you do primals until everyone is ready.

Do you know why? It's because again, no one is obligated to any one else. People play how they want to play regardless of the outcome. This is what you're not understanding. Yes, morally it is wrong and people know this.

It's not a justification. It's a logical understanding altogether in which all plausible scenarios are considered depending on the individual. You say It's bad because it ruins a first timers experience. A random first timer might say they don't care and just want to play. So who's right? Are you going to shun that first timer because they don't care and try to justify your explanation? No one is obligated to another, at all. Not every one cares and doesn't mind if mobs are pulled when they are in a cutscene. Not everyone is the same.

When it comes to something like this in an MMO, communication is key. KEY. It doesn't matter if we see a first-timer notice. If you don't speak up, forever hold your peace. And when you do say something most people will gladly wait for you and are nice. Silence = Ok we are doing what ever.
