Oh, excuse me, didn't knew you had the monopoly of objectivity and reality.
Funny, i pay my sub through my job, which is a philosophy, history and ethics teacher. Good to know im being teached lessons here. Phew, wouldn't know how to do my job without you.

You would have a point about that last part if it wasn't clearly an Unethical predatory capitalist explotative practice. The gaming industry is a shithole is thanks to people like you that don't have two fingers in front of them to tell when they are being served a proper product or are being ripped off - And above all, celebrate it as a thing of status like for example:

In the end the supporters of the cash shop are all about this really. Indoctrinated to the core by the explotative unhealthy and hiper individual-competitive capitalist mindset of: "If you don't have it, don't are not worth it." Just to drawn imaginary lines of well being between them and the rest: "I can afford it = im better."

When i see this company providing a proper service for the consumers i will maybe start beliving in microtransactions like those, cosmetics and ALTERNATIVE mounts to the ones in game.

I play from Chile, south america. I don't even have a Datacenter and whenever this game struggles with theirs up there in the north, i just cannot play and many others like me. When you think the servers are doing "bad" is when you start to experience what i experience every day.

From where i stand there is no evidence nor sign that the cash shop helps the health and function of the game.

All i read are individualistic, petty people that camp threads dissuading anyone dissident or in a diferent condition than themselves - Actual capitalist ideology at it's best: Not to blame you though, the north emisphere has always profited from it while in the south emisphere we face the actual consecuences of this mindset: "I can afford it - im better."

When servers issues that have been historical are solved.
When server limitations that have been historical are solved.

In fact SE profits from those limitations - Extra retainers being the main example.
I bet they will put an extra paid glamour slots instead of actually solving their code or increasing the server capacity for items.

I might consider the valid existence of a cash shop as feature that adds and doesn't substract from the game - right now it just takes away from it - not as far as to say it recives more content than the game itself: but it recives content that the game doesn't and thats wrong no matter how you cut it - Not optional but mandatory microtransactions.
On the other hand SE might just come clear and explicitly say where the money is going, how much it actually needs, what are the true expenses of this whole ordeal.

Till any of that happens, the cash shop will remain an unethical feature that has no place in a game that charges a subscription.
