If MSQ didn't work fine as a tutorial, everyone would be failing at 80.

Honestly no, msq does not work as a tutorial until maybe stormblood possibly the dungeon at the end of post heavensward. Post stormblood was amazing and actually had some fun tank mechanics mixed into one of the fights, and the starting fight aaaaallll the way in bozja. That is for msq in general not counting dungeons for all of that or trials. The first Trial that was perfect was Odin, but not many do that early, so to pick msq ones maybe Nidhogg. Best dungeon for teaching would have to go to The Great Gubal Library. This is for the first dungeon I was in that actually taught me things, but not everything I would have liked to know. Alliance raids does not even let you interact with the other tanks to learn how to cover, shirk, nothing. I knew those things existed, but not having any need or ability to do it made me assume it would not be important until it was. I would have liked practice, a need to swap, the other tank to not have removed their shirk button off of their bar because they are the manliest of men and 'will not shirk' else their manliness be questioned for they are the MAIN TANK the only tank that other tank voking so they don't receive the final stack that killed them already 2 wipes into the fight.

If all of the class quests were like the start of gunbreaker and dancer I would not be here, but you do not get those classes until you are already 60. Scholar has been okay so far despite having to physically target everyone. Summoner was good too, but let me tell you that paladin quest line until the tournament arc undergeared, I didn't even have to use cooldowns, I had no practice with them, if I did not play swtor prior I would have been so darn confused.

Edit: I forgot! You can not even shirk to the big kitty mans in the gunbreaker quest. Also I forgot every one of the monk quests never giving you time to practice positionals. Out of all of the class quest that actually could use someone tanking for you within the story, this is it! This would have been helpful of all of the times someone has tanked for you within the other class quests T_T It has only taught me that being inside of the enemies hitbox more times than not will allow me to cheese the positionals.
