Your suggestion: Relocator joins campers at noon, all camp together until midnight. Relocator wins. Campers all move to relo plot at midnight for fresh timer.

Do you see how this suggestion just makes things worse?
No, you're not comprehending the problem here. The average wait time for an invisible timer is around 11-13hrs after it becomes available. In the scenario you propose for today, if the relocator joins the campers at noon, what I AM saying is it is likely those 15 campers have already been there for a good 4-10 hours just clicking hopelessly and when the relocating person shows up he has no wait, he trumps all others efforts, instantly taking the plot and resetting essentially resetting the invisible timer for everyone at his/her old plot.

my suggestion is that the relocator has a window of 3 or 4 hours when the plot very first becomes available where their trump card still works, the timer is ticking but their trump card works still until hour 4 we'll say, then after hour 4 if said relocator is late to the party and finds there's 5 people who've been waiting for 8 hours at the timer he has to join them in waiting and clicking, thus preventing wasting everyones time because it is understand and accept he had the same chance as us to get the plot, with the added benefit now that there is still another one available albeit with a reset timer. ultimately i would like the timer to go away, se to make land deeds available for trade on the market board but that comes with it's own set of problems that many players and SE would not want but hell, it would still beat waiting days and days when i could be doing dungeons and it would beat the sketchy black market we once had where if you want a house you paid the price but had to rely on the other person being honest in the deal. deeds would give everyone security and price the houses where their value actually is.
