You're looking at this from the XIV viewpoint, where everyone can be all classes. Most MMOs lock you to one class. That's why alts are so popular in other MMOs. So class exclusion is a huge deal in other games because in most you either can't change your class or you have to pay to be able to do so. So suddenly you have a max level character who can't progress at all.

It's still an issue here in XIV because if you only have one class, now you can't progress until you level or pay to boost another.

Yes I am looking at it through FFXIV cause I really do not think it will be as doom and gloom as many make it out to be given the glass dynamic with their designe philosophy. Though even in other games I have raised in WoW as meme classes i have never faced exclusion to the point where I could not clear content or get groups. Sure it may be harder require greater effort on my part to prove my worth but I was able to find groups that did not mind.

As I said what is weird about it is the mindset will always exist with or without parsing so why fight it. Just avoid playing with those type of people it is not the end of the world.

This is genuinely why I tend to stick with PF. It's unlikely I'll find certain folks in my Extreme farms or Savage reclears. And since I'm maxed out on all my jobs, cap on tomestones via Extreme farms and finished my 2000 Mentor roulettes I only really ever roll the dice when I'm bored or when I want to do PvP. It's always nice to be around like-minded folk.

It's not a small community. Iirc 12s has a 30%~ clear rate on JP datacenters. And that not counting lower floor completion or participation.

If casual is a personal attack, then why are you being one and admitting so? smh! Is this the casual mentality? Taking everything as an attack? No wonder clearing hard content is an impossibility. And don't say you didn't admit to being a casual when you replied to my question that was directed to them.

Seriously, if a casual player doesn't have much time to improve in the game. Where are they getting the time to level everything? Might consider actually sticking to one job and getting good at it??

We are happy with what we have accomplished, and have nothing to prove to anyone. Been there, done that, got the t shirt, the coffee mug and the mouse mat. Not doing it anymore.

I don't even think most people would be against a personal parse in THEORY, but with all things, it will be abused. A better recommendation I've seen here is the A B C D rank system, vague and harmless enough not to crush a casuals soul and enticing enough to make them try to be better.

doesn't it get tiring for you to go into any kind of thread that's about casuals, wanting people to improve and alike and screaming about parsers and how IT WOULD NEVER BE ADDED and how SO MANY PEOPLE WOULD STOP PLAYING and that it'll be the day the game dies for you? like, we know, you don't need to continuously scream and shout about it
the same obviously goes for mpk or caur, but mpk is a troll and so is caur most likely, while I doubt you are /shrug
