This is not an effective argument against personal parsers/grading in duties.Parsers are banned for a good reason.
The Square Enix team have stated in no uncertain terms that they are against them.
Parsers add to the toxicity and elitism in an online gaming world where there is already far too much of that.
They do not want to create a game environment where players are judged for not being "good enough" at video games. And the existence of parsers will naturally lead to a dire exacerbation of this problem.
I am extremely thankful that Square Enix have put their foot down on the issue of parsing.
Square Enix will not add parsing to Final Fantasy XIV. Do not use a parser, it is explicitly against TOS and you will be banned.
