    I wonder if they made it like an actual teleport instead of a "beeline pull" would help with this, I have the same impression of those spells. But something tells me that the battle coding hold this kind of ability back... If you see NIN's Sukuchi is a slightly faster Between the lines, but the character still beelines the way. The animation doesn't make look like, but the camera movement indicates otherwise.

    As per your point 6... I also think BLM is the most perfect caster right now, but I keep thinking about a few points...

    1) Would the players being happy going into Endwalker just with spell upgrades that don't bring anything new to the BLM game? Currently the only mechanic that BLM has that is considered "annoying" is Enochian, and it has received numerous QoL improvements ever since its inception. More improvements would mean trivializing the mechanic?

    2) If BLM would eventually hit a "Soft wall" (design reached perfection and has nowhere else to grow w/o damaging the structure it has) in 7.0, would players be okay with a job rework, if it's meant to add new "toys"?

    3) Layering new mechanics without changing what BLM has right now could potentially ruin the gameplay?


    I end finding myself really torn. While I'm really happy with how BLM is now, not having interesting features added with the expansion tastes a little bitter. As a RDM I kinda felt a bit of that entering ShB, they didn't really get anything meaningful mechanically or visually.

    I'd love to see BRD's getting their song's effects. Do we got earplugs in? I don't think they make earplugs for Viera, that'd prob be considered a hat.

    Dark knight- changed back to HW branching combos and dark arts, livind dead no longer shit, sustain upgraded
    Dragoon: disembowel extended on aoe combo, stardiver now an upgrade to dragonfire dive and less lag. Phelebotmize and pole dance returned, piecering talon no longer breaks combo, lifesurge now critical direct hit and hp restore increased a little, fang/wheel timers and raiden changed to 15 seconds, jump and mirage combined, life of the dragon now transforms the character for new attacks- poledance, phelebotomise and nael's tankbuster as 4 fold attack
    healers: see the healer forums, I could be here all day
    rdm: aoe finishers, water and blizzard magic, recovery tool for misaligned colours since no other job gets punished, embolden affects everything, new sword attack to restore mp
    dnc: a dot and charges for curing waltz

    While I don't particularly main these classes, I would like to see Scholar and Summoner have their pets removed as a system, but still keep them in terms of their character models and actions.

    For Scholar, make it so that Eos or Selene are hovering over your shoulder and attached to our character model when you draw your book. Physick can be upgraded to Embrace, where it's both you and your fairy casting a heal. Any old fairy actions can instead come from you, rather than your fairy, but the fairy does the animations when you activate the action.

    For Summoner, make it so that Carbuncle is at our heel like a well-trained dog, attached to our character model like Eos. Instead of Ruin/Ruin3, Ruin2/Ruin4 and Outburst, we have Carbuncle themed attacks that fulfill the same effects. Instead of Egis replacing Carbuncle, they instead appear for a brief attack, similar to how the Reaper's Void Avatar does. Demi-Bahamut and Demi-Phoenix instead appear from Carbuncle and follow us in a similar manner, and also just make it so that Bahamut is summoned with Dreadwyrm Trance, to make it consistent with Firebird Trance.

    Outside of those two, I'd like for Dark Knight to be made into something other than "Warrior, but edgy". I wanted them to roll all the Dark Arts effects into Darkside and make it so that Darkside was something you toggled on for burst phases. Make it consume Black Blood to use and, because these used Black Blood, make Bloodspiller a new combo finisher only available while using Darkside, while Quietus can either be a powerful oGCD on a moderate cooldown, or just an AoE you can spam while in Darkside. Delirium can either give you 50 Black Blood or double your current Black Blood amount. My reason would be that, by succumbing to your Darkside, you are able to make use of these more vicious attacks, while your unwilling to use such savage abilities when clear headed.

    For DNC:
    -I would like a way to get procs more likely.
    -Upgrades for the proc weaponskills. Maybe they can have a higher chance of earning feathers.
    -Make Improvisation less situational.
    -Change Devilment's name so it has "Tango" in it like the French, German, and Japanese versions do. (I know it's a petty change but I want it).

    MCH: Add something we need to be a bit more reactive with; maybe an interplay between battery and heat?. Right now MCH is very straight forward. Boring between bursts like ninja, spammy bursts like WAR/DRK and painless mobility mean the job just feels shallow. Battery in particular barely feels like a mechanic. Wildfire also feels like a relic. AoE is even more simplistic, making dungeons a bore. Aesthetically, I am hoping for more gadgets.

    MNK: MNK is in an incomplete state right now. The removal of GL made a lot of skills borderline useless. Stances are also redundant. Monk needs some kind of mechanic to tie the class together. Something with room to be expanded upon. Not sure what that is, but I hope we get a cohesive vision. I feel more positive about MNK right now than I have in a long time.

    DRG: I like the idea Recon gave for life of the dragon to transform our rotation. DRG feels good to me right now, but I am not sure how much they can add before it becomes an unwieldy mess.

    ALL HEALERS: I have few hopes for my old favorite role. Our healing kits are bloated while the massive amounts of downtime we have are spent spamming one button DPS. Their solutions so far seem to be to try and reduce downtime... but that just doesn't work. As people learn fights and we get better gear, downtime increases. In easier content and when trying to play the MSQ healers are mindnumbing to play. In an ideal world, I'd say you give WHM and perhaps Sage more interesting DPS rotations and then give AST and SCH more intensive/taxing mechanics with better rewards. (AST buff focused with time magic, SCH debuff focused?) But I honestly don't expect to ever main a healer again.

    Mained SMN from 2.0 all the way to 5.0, and personally I'd like to see all of our summons work closer to how Summon Phoenix works, getting rid of the DoTs and Egis entirely. It's pretty divisive but they need to do *something* about it. Lot's of people might disagree but barring the weird lockouts I think Stormblood Summoner was the best the job has ever been.

    For Dragoon, I'd like to see Ala Morn, and I'd like to see us get something similar to Hissatsu: Gyoten, since it's never really made sense to me that despite being a job that's supposed to be super mobile, all our mobility is damage cooldowns.

    Gunbreaker is pretty much perfect the way it is, only two things I'd really like would be Fated Circle and Continuation at a lower level than 70 and maybe an AoE continuation combo, but even that's not super necessary.

    That's my 2c on it at any rate.
