IF in 2.0 SE created a new server and called it an RP server, I can see it tearing the current role-players apart.. being more of a hindrance than a help. Since many already have friends on Besaid/(Balmung).. half the community may choose to stay on Balmung, and half move to the RP server. It would do no good. I think if SE is going to label a server "RP friendly," it has to be the existing server with the highest population of role-players.
yet in doing so they would be alienating the non roleplayers on that server, thus why they WILL NOT do it
much like they made a seperate server to designate the EU server, thats the only route i bet they will go with it
