So to be clear Karl, your assessment is that they will repeat the same two attacks ad infinitum, occasionally weave in the OCD, enter their trance state and then spam a single move as their full single target rotation?

You guys are really not listening. Dragoon has two 5-button combos that overlap with each since both share Fang and Claw, Wheeling Thrust and True Thrust / Raiden Thrust. It has about 4 OGCD attacks and a burst attack phase in Nastrond. This plus the AoE abilities took them 40 seconds to showcase in the job action trailer. Reaper has showcased 3 basic combo attacks, one OCD and a burst phase; this took thirty seconds to showcase; removing the duplicate attacks reduces it to about 20 seconds. There is about 2-3 other combo abilities we haven't seen and one or two more OGCD attacks. How many extra attacks do you think it will get in its burst phase? Dragoon only gets Nastrond and Stardiver in its burst phase; one of which is an upgrade to another ability Geirskogul.

To clarify, the intent for my request is that I did not feel that you were explaining yourself clearly, and I asked my question deliberately to have you explain more completely. Or you'd just agree and I'd screen shot it, but you know, whatever. You guys are really not listening. As for what we've seen, we only saw two different green attacks, and two different Red attacks, and the . To use your Dragoon equivalency, this is the equivalent to having seen True thrust, Vorpal thrust, Blood of the Dragon, and I'm going to say either Fang and Claw or Geirskogul (not the best match, but they're different jobs, they'll have different mechanics, I can't give a 1 to 1.)
Yeah I don't get where he's coming from saying we saw the full 3 part combo. To me, it's just two parts of the combo repeated twice then with what others have said are ogcd ghost attacks followed by the burst possessed phase. To clarify, the intent for my request is that I did not feel that you were explaining yourself clearly, and I asked my question deliberately to have you explain more completely. There's still a good amount missing and Yoshi has stated in interviews now that they are still working out some of the mechanics of the job. Apparently Karl already knows what the end result will be.

Not counting role actions such as Second Wind the number of class actions for existing melee DPS classes are:To clarify, the intent for my request is that I did not feel that you were explaining yourself clearly, and I asked my question deliberately to have you explain more completely. Dragoon: 26 abilities total. 5 buffs (Battle Litany, Dragon Sight, Blood of the Dragon, Lance Charge, Life Surge), 7 (technically 6 since one is an upgrade) AoE attacks including OGCD attacks like Dragonfire Dive and Geirskogul , one disengage ability. That leaves 13 (technically 12 since Raiden Thrust is an upgrade for True Thrust) single target abilities including ranged attacks and OGCD.
Samurai: 33 abilities total. 7 are self-buffs (Ikishoten, Hagakure, Meditate, Merciful Eyes, Hissatsu: Kaiten, Meikyo Shisui, Third Eye), 7 are AoE attacks, 2 are gap closers and disengage. That leaves 17 single target abilities including ranged attacks; remove duplicate attacks like Kaeshi: Higanbana and Kaeshi: Setsugekka you are down to 15.
Ninja: 34 abilities. 3 Mudras. 6 self-buffs (Bunshin, Meisui, Kassatsu, Huton, Hide, Shade Shift), 5 AoE attacks, one gap closer. 19 single target attacks of which there are 4 ranged attacks.
Monk: 26 abilities total. 11 buffs (Anatman, Brotherhood, Riddle of Fire, Riddle of Earth, Meditation, Form Shift, Perfect Balance, Mantra, Fists of Wind, Fists of Fire, Fists of Earth). 5 AoE attacks. One gap closer. That leaves 9 single-target abilities.
Assuming it is the closest to Dragoon then we have seen about 25% of the class's total abilities and 40-50% of its single-target attacks.
