I disagree, PvE is more demanding as a competition than PvP. Any player can be the best at killing another player, but having the best Pvp'ers form a party to do an event such as Ifrit, Moogle, etc. They might probably fail horribly.

Showing how well you work with others is a better competition, to me that is. You could very well kill the best tank on ther server in a fight, but can you tank better than them when it actually matters?
