Why does everyone rush so quickly in this game?

If you want to explore a dungeon at your own pace, do it with Trusts. That's basically what they're there for.

I've heard of these and will be utilizing them in the future WHEN I GET THERE! Trusts, if you don't know, are not available pre ShB. Would be nice if they were I'd be all over that.

There's an often overlooked system in ARR you have access to when you rank up enough in your grand company. Basically you get a squad of your own, and once they've trained up enough you get the option to take the squad into dungeons with you. Unfortunately I don't think you can go into dungeons you haven't already completed, but it does allow you to take any dungeon below level 60 at your own pace.
