SE should just delete both MSQ dungeons already.

I did older dungeons unsynced once I reached 80. Sastasha, as well as Haukke Manor, always bothered me that I never got the maps to 100%, but I never imposed to the other 3 DF members that we should explore them. Nowadays, maps are just a straight a line, and we have trusts for the SHB dungeons if we really want to enjoy the scenery. It'll take 30mins with the scions anyway so might as well enjoy the view.Just to show you what I mean think about when's the last time you explored the side tunnels in Sastasha. 99% of new players don't even know they exist now because everyone is just rushing. But there is hidden lore in those tunnels like the slaves you find in those tunnels.
I did Heroes Gauntlet with trusts and read every bit of dialogue. The twins and Ryne did not complain. Now, if only Thancred could do big pulls...

It's my time to spend; it's my time to waste.
I believe it comes down to most the people running the dungeons have done them a million times. Their primary goal is to lvl their character not experience the dungeon. So maximizing XP/HR is playing optimally for them. Me personally when I do dungeons I expect mass pulls or at least decent pulls (Half pulls). If someone just pulls single mobs or single groups I complain because it is adding 8-12 mins to the dungeon for no reason. But I see the problem as well for newer players. ShB fixed this sorta with the trust system being able to solo the dungeon at your pace.
It has always been a problem especially for new players. Use to be worse for players when they would be forced to actually skip the story when people rushed in ARR before they made it mandatory to watch the cutscenes.
Only way I see to fix this is to change the core dungeon design. Make it where rushing and pulling mass waves would 100% wipe the group every time (Aka make the trash less trashy). Make it where the dungeons are not linear, but large with multiple paths with worthwhile rewards as in more xp for doing side thing in dungeons. The problem is the design of the dungeons. And it is sorta sad because if you go in solo and walk around the detail in some of the dungeons is just great and it is missed speedrunning everything.
Rushing is just so wrong to me. This game and story is too awesome to skip and even after doing a dungeons, raids, etc for billions of time. Judt letting this forums and devs that me and some really enjoy this game! <3
After any new dungeon or raid or really cool old dungeon run, I just teleport back to the beginning and begin exploring. You got a lot of time to really look at the dungeon now that they expanded the post run time at the end to an hour or more. I love taking pictures, too, and read the notes. I couldn’t before, but now I can as I got plenty of time to do it after. I hate rushing, too, but I got to go with the flow and run as they do.
The first time a dungeon is released I usually go with friends and we take it slower to look at everything. If I miss something I go back now and just use a trust party and look at everything. For older dungeons I just solo unsync and walk around to read stuff (like books in Gubal).
Dungeons are so boring , with 0 challenge , how do you not want to rush that honestly . If you want to explore , do it after the run.
Eeeeh, no. Faster you clear dungeon - faster you can start new thing. Nobody (ex who learn lore, but they create they own party) want 40min sastasha\ex roulette
If you want to explore a dungeon at your own pace, do it with Trusts. That's basically what they're there for.
