I don't mind mega pulls on my first run through a dungeon, but I'll sure as hell take the time to watch all cut scenes.
Rarely does it makes me miss anything but more of the same trash mobs, so no biggie for me.

Idm waiting for new ppl watching CS and imo id force em on everyone on first time AND lock players while they run, but welp...
On the 300th time doing a dungeon i wanna hurry yes, but i wouldnt mind doing slower if not half our CD's were 60-90 sec or longer... half them and id pull slower but like that, lol, no.
im rushing because i can afford only 30d... who else gonna pay my subs beside myself?
Wait... youre the one complaining of the zerg during the Event and yet you say that? lol
This. VERY MUCH THIS!But what about the new players? They're more interested in exploring and enjoying the content. The worst culprit is the Praetorium where everything dies in seconds after watching a minute-long cutscene. It was anticlimactic and if people slowed down new players will actually be able to enjoy that dungeon like it was truly an epic final dungeon!
I'm a new player. I see the majority of people arguing with OP are not new players... makes sense. Anyway..
As a new player I groan when having to q for MSQ dungeons because I know that people will just run through it with me not having any idea of what is going on. I've started googling the dungeons before or while i'm waiting on the dps Q... which, while may be considered awesome of me for the rest of the group, is actually not that great. I get exposed to the spoilers.. the dungeon is no longer engaging.. and I spend a lot of the time just chasing after the rest of the party.
Enter Praetorium: My first experience with this was just plain awful. Naturally I managed to die after stepping out of a cutscene and not at all sure where the rest of the party went to. I then proceeded to try my best to run back and catch up with the group, but every 5 seconds or less a new cutscene was triggered.. it was a mess. And instead of being cool the group decided to flame me for my death and say "well why dont you run on back then?" Oh.... I'll get right on that.. can you pleas stop advancing the dungeon?!
Its not fun. Not fun at all. And its not SEs fault. Maybe a little for imposing a dungeon grind on end game or whatever is happening (see... remember... I'm a new player)I really don't know what end game is like yet. But you guys, as players, can really add to the not so fun feeling of the dungeon system for the new players. Its like everyone assumes the sprout is a lie. ITS NOT! There are SOOOOO many new players in this game and everyone acts as if there are none. My FC has a crap ton of new players... SMH
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO TOOK THIS THREAD SERIOUSLY. >_<
You would make 3 other people wait while you read lore and take pictures? If I get you in my dungeon I'd vote kick you right away for being inconsiderate.
I've heard of these and will be utilizing them in the future WHEN I GET THERE! Trusts, if you don't know, are not available pre ShB. Would be nice if they wereI'd be all over that.
at least i do not think they are available![]()
There's an often overlooked system in ARR you have access to when you rank up enough in your grand company. Basically you get a squad of your own, and once they've trained up enough you get the option to take the squad into dungeons with you. Unfortunately I don't think you can go into dungeons you haven't already completed, but it does allow you to take any dungeon below level 60 at your own pace.
Yes, I have just as much right to enjoy my game as you do. It takes twenty seconds for me to take a picture. Just please be patient instead of threatening me.
You'll be so happy with Trusts! They are a godsend after the hell that is being rushed throughout all other dungeons.
