People rush through dungeons because of the nature of the game - as an MMO, you get some mileage out of content but then it becomes a chore. If 5.4 isn't released until later in the year (Nov - Dec) as rumored, Akademia Anyder will have been on EX Roulette for almost an entire year; there's only so many times you can run it and still care about anything other than the rewards at the end. The same goes for any piece of content - I mean no disrespect to newbies, but I don't care about Brayflox' Longstop anymore because I've done it a dozen times in every role. There's nothing new to see, so I'm more interested in getting it done.

(That said if I'm playing a DPS class I have no room to complain, since green tanks and/or healers will slow the thing down regardless... but I digress.)
But what about the new players? They're more interested in exploring and enjoying the content. The worst culprit is the Praetorium where everything dies in seconds after watching a minute-long cutscene. It was anticlimactic and if people slowed down new players will actually be able to enjoy that dungeon like it was truly an epic final dungeon!
