Some more thoughts.

G'raha and his soul

I really wonder how dense his soul is now...when we rejoined with Ardbert our soul got more dense. We are now 9 parts of the old soul..but G'raha should be over a complete Anicent soul right now. His old self already had 8 parts and now he rejoined with his 9 parts, which means that he should be complete right now. It would be a bit different if he only gave his memories but we do know that he also gave his soul. So seeing how it was all the time before that, he should now be really powerful and kinda like an Ancient right? (It could of course be that SE never thought about that and just handwave it away somehow..)

Also Elidibus was not able to control him because his soul was so dense. Doesnt this mean that at a certain amount of rejoinings they would not be able to possess people anymore or with great difficulty? Also if all the people are nearly rejoined after some more calamities..wouldnt there be a point where this huge amount of people would become a serious threat?

Ascians and their memories

This patch, and especially Elidibus situation, really showed that the Ancient one were just as flawed as we are and also suffered memory loss. Which makes Emets declaration that we cant be trusted to keep their memories alive kinda ironic. He himself cant even remember the faces of his people. No matter when they will always appear like the faceless mask wearing humans. Even when he recognized our soul he only saw such a being. I know of course that this was mostly done by SE, probably to not create so many faces and to keep them a mystery. But just viewing this purely from an ingame point of view its quite telling that neither Hythlo nor us have a face too.

And Elidibus is even worse. We see directly into his old memories and even though we can hear distinct voices, the faces are still not really there.

It sounds like soul density is linked to how many unique pieces you've got, and duplicates somehow don't count. Let's just take his word on it and not think too hard. He's done the research, at least.

And it does feel like handwaving to me...
