Single-pulling AT ALL means the basic competency isn't there.

Pulling and holding threat, even if it is one group at a time, is basic competency. Is it efficient? Not really. That's more of a community standard than a competency check.

No, it's not. Pulling and holding thread is the very basics of the job. If someone isn't able to pop Rampart + their other major cooldown while pressing a few buttons and picking up a few packs, they lack competency. If that's "competency" to you, then, to be blunt, you are not a competent tank.

I adhere to the community standard of massive pulls and I consider myself to be a very competent tank, though like everyone I'm not immune to making mistakes now and then. I was just giving my opinion on the matter, but you are free to think whatever you like about me. No skin off my back. There's a difference between doing one's job, and doing one's job well and efficiently. I consider someone that is capable of "just doing their job", such as pulling and holding threat, as being competent at a basic level. I never said it was good though. Obviously it is not the best way to play.

I'll quote more when there's more that's deserving of a comment being made about it. And actually no what I understand is that some of us play the game correctly and yet many others play it very, very incorrectly.
