1) The content isn't out yet, so saying the devs haven’t learned is something we don’t know. (And I personally disagree with after seeing the improvements)
2) Some people don’t enjoy the people who afk and only contribute when needed get the same rewards as people spawning hunts/NMs/whatever else.
3) welcome to optional relic weapon grind content to keep you busy so the devs can collect sub money. Square Enix is a company.
4) It sounds like this content will force you to communicate and make friends with people to improve and grow and learn to defeat its critical engagements.
Oh no. What a nightmare, content that forces you to play in a group environment that is also time consuming and actually having to participate. It’s like this game is an MMORPG or something.
While I agree with you completely, I'd like to bring up XIV being very poor in terms of socialization. To focus on American and EU worlds, there is no incentive to actually talk with anyone. And many players just accept FC invites because they don't know what they mean nor care because of the buffs.

This game's difficulty is usually scaled for the lowest common denominator. And as such, you can clear any content as long as your party carries you or you are able to press 1-2-3. No more than that.

That said, it actually is a nightmare for some people because they got all the way to Shadowbringers (assuming no jump potions) and actually have to treat the game like a real MMO instead of a single player game with other people in the same area.
