"Meta" is the crux of your arguments. People being forced to multi-class is also "meta" that is being enforced. I gave example of people barely pointing out lack of healer dps as an indicator that people in this game don't care enough about meta (and ability to multi-class) to enforce it on PUG groups.
And yet we have endless debates on Healer DPS in Dungeons.

To give a, less stupid, example. During Heavensward because the DPS checks of the first Alexander where so nightmarish. DPS builds where enforced to all but healers because they couldn't reach Accuracy cap (except SCH whos dot/ dots weren't factored into Accuracy). I'm not sure if you noticed but all level 60 and below Accessories where job unlocked. So tanks would use Strength accessories to attempt the Alex raids. At the time, Strength accessories had no Vitality.

This trickled down to "All tanks have to use STR Accessories or you suck" mentality into all content. Even, and especially, dungeons. So you had fresh level 60's with strength accessories trying to wall to wall pull and getting butchered because the healers couldn't keep up.

It got so bad that a couple of patches later they changed the Tank Damage formula to take into consideration Vit + Strength. Still didn't stop some people going, ahem, Beast Mode.

Heck, even when Stormblood came out, and they reverted back to Tanks being STR only, There where still some clinging onto thier Level 60 Strength Accessories just for a few extra points of Muh Tank Deeps.

So don't you come in here with that crap young man. Stuff like your suggestion have serious consequences for all content in the game.
