On the bright side, despite the RNG either loving you or hating you, at least the mats are easy to get and aren't extremely expensive, so you don't risk losing hundreds of thousands of gil on a failed craft. Just a lot of time.

I'm fairly happy where I'm at with these now, probably a bit of room for improvement on priorities but I'm consistently getting good results. The crafts definitely have rng involved, but you can still get reasonable results even with poor luck. I managed a 5600 after failing 7 Rapid Synths in a row and you can fail a good few Hasty Touches and still succeed if you're smart with CP.

I still feel that we're a bit too Pliant reliant and that Centered is a little too much rng. Also the crafts are a bit long for something we're meant to spam tons of. By nature the more steps you have, the more procs you get, so we end up dragging out each craft. But overall it's a positive for me.

The leaderboards aren't as crazy as I feared and I suspect it will only get easier to top as time goes on. Hopefully they expand this system beyond the leaderboard though.

And your point is what? I already said a few times it is my opinion on it, and I do not want to see it start be used for making or obtaining actual items. That is my opinion. As of right now no it has no effect on anyone cause it is pointless to do unless you purely want the challenge, and if that is all they want to do with it or maybe add an achievement/title. I am perfectly okay with that. What I do not want to see is this becoming the norm for regular crafting. Do you understand what I am saying now?

I think this is a good first step. The "skill" required is just determening your preferred actions to use, then which actions to prioritize during each of the conditions.



Yes there is RNG involved, but it is your choices of which RNG actions or conditions you wish to use.

Hasty touch - at least 10 required after reaching 11 IQ through non-pt methods to obtain the minimum collectibility. 10 more to max it.

Rapid synth - after muscle Memory with veneration up it will give over 5k progress.

Patient touch - 2 successful pt to get 10-11 IQ for 12 cp.

Then you have your conditions. Normal, Sturdy, Centered, and Good.

What you do with each condition, and which RNG actions you use are up to you. I personally use all of the above and generally only use focus to fish as a last resort.

Other less RNG Heavy methods do exist, and I did this wasting co and doing these actions on w/e condition came up.

The fact is yes it's more rng then it is skill. Nobody will care who's at the #1 spot because it's 80% rng 20% skill. You ARE dependent on the new conditions. Wanna probe me wrong? Post a video of you getting the required quality without using the new conditions at all and let's see how it's not rng dependent.

You mean like your very first post you made to me where you just had to add the anger bit? Let me correct you, it isn't anger it is called mocking and belittling trolls. Why did I do that though? I did it because they did not do anything in a neutral constructive matter as you like to call it now did they? They cherry picked 1 line that I explained more right after to try to use to make me look bad. So no, I have no respectful conversation to have with them. There are many approaches, many ways to make the item.

Personally I think 4500 points is very easy to achieve. I can aim 6k each time I craft.

actually today I did try if I can do 4500 with no food or tea, and yes, its more caring about cp, but still I crafted in wait for savage raid ( I didn't want to use different foods )

I really don't see any issue with those Expert recipes, would be funnier if they would add more things to play with, maybe two more new conditions, or whistle - I miss whistle - ;-;

This system sucks, what is the point to it other then RNG. Not sure we high crafters have been asking for this at all. What is fun about RNG crafting. Idk why some few people talk about crafting like they can make it into a raid. If you have the right gear it will be ez that is normally just how it is with crafting. I rather NOT have crafting be like a lottery ticket that it decided whether or not to screw me out of hard earned material and gil.

I think the system was created to give a bit of prestige to the top crafters contributing to Ishgard via a leaderboard system. The "RNG" gamble will save you time and resources needed if you master the priority system with moderate luck on procs.

Also, it's an opt in system, so if you just want the items, you can take the guaranteed crafting route for a few less scrips at max craft.
