If we're following current trend, we won't even need an overmelded Facet set and prices will crash before even a week is over anyway. That's why we have less motivation, why bother putting in extra effort when it gives no reward? What are you missing out on?

Everything is riding on these "Expert" recipes.
What reward are you after gil?? Gil is easy too get and hard to get rid of not much of a reward. High stat tools? Well your own post just pointed out how useless they are currently, as their not being pushed to their limit. Seen more then my share of hardcore crafters say mounts, titles and glams are not a good enough reward. Starting to think the hardcore community does not have a bloody clue what it wants reward wise. One moment its gil, then its high stat gear, then its just the achievement of completing a hard craft. Do you guys have any clue what you want exactly? For me the reward is knowing I dont need others to craft any craftable item I may want.

I am going to take a guess and say what hardcore crafters really want is fame and notoriety. To have a small hand full of crafters on each server who stand at the top with slobbering masses at their feet. But your finding that achievements, tools, mounts, glam's,gil and even the coming leader boards just dont give you that.

Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
