    Being limited vs group will likely determine what you can tame. For those who want a group job, you are not going to be able to tame very much. Those who do not care, or the limited crowd will probably get unique stuff like Behemoths & Dragon type pets. Keep that in mind.

    FFXI beastmaster was very limited in what the pets were. It was not a great job by any stretch to boot. Subpar DPS. Unless you get a endgame weapon, competing against people without an endgame weapon.

    In other words: BST as a full job will be like SMN. BST as a limited job will be like pokemon. I know which I would prefer.
