I couldn't care less about furniture, but glamour and mogstation items yes please! This game needs more mogstation outfits.

So a few MSQ is better than a consistant end-game content who also takes advantage of the potential and effort put into the dungeons created.

Well, after the 2B butt topic, the truth is, nothing surprises me here.

The dungeons suck anyway, only cool the first time. Not the 50th. Unless it drops cool outfits.

To be fair, I think it was stated somewhere that SE actually does fund the game with mogstation funds. And they are separate teams. As long as the outfits they release aren't ugly, I will buy them.

I wish they would actually do viera hairs with those funds, but I guess new eureka or whatever is priority.

They could use that money to finish the two races they introduced with the expansion and they can't even wear hats properly.

Or hiring people to ban bots so we dont have to see them in the cities or gathering, breaking the economy at the same time.

Or include lasting content beyond raiding twice a week and staying in Limsa dancing.

They could do it. But they're going to do it? no, if they put in umbrellas and have you all jumping for joy.

Then what is your idea of "long lasting content beyond raiding twice a week"? What would you want to see? I'm guessing not more raids.

Hats will never happen. If they do it'll just be clipping. Actually making unique model for the viera/hrothgar is way too much, apparently. I'll have you know I go to limsa so little I get lost whenever there is an event there (seriously I actually forget the layout). Gridania is my spot, well usually the Inn room. With new Eureka or whatever that I have heard about that's a whole new way for me to afk and progress!

Seriously though, dungeons are actually worthless, all they are is variety to the dungeon finder, and usually an annoyance at that, new ones mean new ways for randoms to wipe the party. Would I want them scrapped? Not unless they had something better to offer up. I also am fine with more glamour content, like the umbrella - If it is tied to meaningful content to unlock it. As in, if they released decent rewards to new PvE (They can't do PvP) content that will keep people coming to that content. There needs to be a good balance here, even if some people find a specific piece of content good, or bad, people won't do it en masse, unless there are decent rewards (cosmetics, mats, etc). The large amount of people doing Eureka proved that.

Thats kind of the Problem with Headgear on Viera and Hrothgar (Well Mostly Hrothgar)They would actually have to completely redesign alot of gear to fit their Faces and heads.
That or Possibly Morph and extend some gear like a few Circlets, and it might just come out really whack. Ill guess there is some excuse to why they can't add earholes to alot of gear for the Viera, but I can't think of what it is without resorting to insulting them and calling them lazy. IDK.
Im a little jealous of the Viera having the ability to wear masks. Think the Hrothgar can only truly wear 2 items on the face without it being funky, or just not wearable at all.

Eureka was irritating, it was group content, but if you weren't there day one grinding it out with everyone, you were effectively left behind, desperately making call out to try and get into a group so you can catch up...Maybe I just had bad luck, but I could never get a group going. Thats mostly the reason I gave up on Eureka. Shame to, I hear it gets good after step 1.

To make them look proper yeah. Certain viera ears would probably clip horribly, worse than au ra, unaltered, like the bent ears.

I was always able to find groups during the last half year of Stormblood. Unless it was like really early morning. Anemos was like always the most full and easiest to find groups. I never finished the Eureka storyline, but I almost finished it all before Shadowbringers in a short amount of time. I still use my red mage weapon as my main weapon glamour on it.

Eh, I don't necessarily mind riding the game's whales (the few who spend as much as half of us combined due to whatever need to own anything and everything to do with the game) so long as it's a significant net positive for the game's funding. But... that gets complicated.

I just wish we had more proof that it was a significant positive (in terms of funding for the game as a whole), as there does seem to be a negative impact for a greater number of people (in being reminded that they have to spend money to get everything out of the game) than are positively affected by having the extra vanity options. Without sufficient hard data, I could be quite wrong about that though, and I certainly don't know how negatively or positively affected each person would be.

As much as people like to say that any addition is a fine addition, and to limit what can be added in terms of mounts or glamours is invasive (some has gone so far as to call it fascistic...), there's something to be said for thematic and visual cohesion, which unconstrained additions could take away. In the cases they do, everyone who likes that cohesion pays for the enjoyment of those who'd rather just have their cool (or "gaudy") mount or the like, yet the former group has no way to fight for their preference (additions should not detract from what the game's already done well), while the other group can throw more money at the system to skew it increasingly towards their viewpoint (more, and more varied, is always better).

Both viewpoints ("additions shouldn't detract from what the game's already done well, especially as given strictly by in-game sources" and "more, and more varied, is always better") seem fine and reasonable, but I don't like that there's no way for players who don't want to be as dependent on Mogstation have no vote in the matter. And I especially don't like that those of us on the fence lack the information to cast an informed vote if we were even allowed.

I'm not about to spend money for vanity goods, partly on principle but mostly just because I'm cheap and don't care that much about vanity items (though I also therefore don't much covet them), and I think highly of cohesion, but if I can see one great gameplay feature afforded by Mogstation's profits over the course of an expansion, I'm for it. The problem is I can't see what those profits amount to.
