    Agreed on almost all these points. I miss having dungeons challenging enough to warrant talking to one's allies even when not particularly social. Granted, I don't think XIV's really accomplished that save in a two or three instances (pre-nerf Amdapor and especially Pharos Sirius come to mind), but still, I'd love to double down on that and other factors that make dungeons feel less like something we have to speedrun through. (And to be clear... I like speedrunning dungeons, if only because that's now the only way I won't be bored by them now.)

    Simiarly, I've been trying to think up a way to provide that kind of various but deliberate goals to spice up normal content similar to what Anima books and Wonderous Tails did but going further, ideally into post-cap progression. I hope to have the idea readied by next week if I can avoid working too much overtime.

    Edit: Without Warmode gathering was/is/will be a slog, the 10-30% buff was to good to not have War Mode on when gathering. To which again, people would PK, which again Made it an even bigger slog
    All crafters at lvl 80, trade mentor and made several high-end crafter achievements. But thanks, keep going, you are making this fun.

    I still dont know why you put WorldPvP while farming mats when the bonus doesnt apply then. I dont know man, if you are mythic raider im Napoleón Bonaparte.

    Want to know a fun fact? 1.x got that right, too. If you wanted to obtain a specific key item for your Relic quest, you needed to clear a dungeon in a set amount of time, essentially "Speed run the dungeon" was an objective with additional and unique rewards. All of this sort of stuff just needed refining over the course of the games life, and SE could have made something really great. Instead it was cut away to streamline the experience into one that is ultimately worthless. The only value I see in dungeons these days is story/lore related. From a gameplay perspective they're garbage.

    Perhaps none of this kind of stuff would have worked in 2.x, when the Duty Finder was barely operational, but these days? We have the Party Finder. Imagine seeing Party Finder groups for speed runs, exploration runs, and so on. One piece of content like dungeons could provide a whole variety of ways to play, and that would be amazing IMO. Instead we just have a dull trash > boss cycle that does nothing.
