...Or the devs could...you know...design Beastmaster in its own FFXIV twist like every other non-limited job, like Summoner for example, which is actually fun in this game unlike its certain other FF MMO counterpart.

It's always nice to see them break the mold from the traditional turn-based FF job design with the jobs in FFXIV, and I'm still disappointed they didn't do it with Blue Mage because the devs were too worried about the purists, that probably don't even like FFXIV's gameplay in the first place, not appreciating how the traditional job gimmicks would translate to the game's different combat style.
