    Housing

Couldn't find a better place to post this so here goes hope someone who can help sees this.

I had a medium house back in 2018 and I had to stop playing was in the hospital with cancer its in remission now.

I made some new friends want to transfer servers to play with them. However I also want my house items back some are quest items, some event items, others are just items you make, plus I would like my 80% gil. I dont make money fast in the game so it would be a big help. But because they only hold your gil and items for 35 days after they demolish your house they wont give any of it back. I emailed customer support 4 times explained why and they don't even read it.

This is something so simple they could do but from my experience with customer support they just don't care about the people who play Final Fantasy 14.

The 35 days to claim your housing items and gil time line to just shows greed because it forces you to pay to get back in time and not everyone can.
They could have had the system just put it in your character inventory like other games have. But they made a way that would force people to resub if they wanted it back.

I doubt I will get anything back at all so guess its time for a new game.

Just a small house has the potential to have 220 items placed + 220 items in storage. Even if your personal inventory were completely empty, that would be 240 items that had nowhere to go. There's a reason it's held on the npc. I do think at the very least the gil and any no longer obtainable/mogstation items should be preserved without limit. You should be able to acquire any quest items from vendors in game at least.

Unfortunately the rules are you have 45 days to enter the house or it gets auto-demolished and 35 days afterwards to collect your items. There's no "*certain circumstances will permit an exception to this rule." This applies to everyone and the customer service team is not permitted to go around it.
