There are small items that can add detail but we can't place them because of the limit.
You always end up with a corner or room that feels empty.
The limit needs to be increased.
*Point up* This right here!!! I would LOVE to add a few bottles of wine on my cabinet or table to make it "Feel" lived in.. but because of the item count, I have to create the "General" idea first on ALL the rooms, and then if I'm lucky I can give it fine detail later with whatever "item count" I have left.

If you're trying to do anything even marginally approaching creative in a large house, you can count on walling off significant portions of square footage to accomplish it. When the limit for a L was 200 items, it was just plain farcical. 600 items would still leave me wanting, frankly, but as I've said before, it would be a darn good start!

Right now i have kinda the same Problem :/ even tho, every room got stuff in it, and none look bare really, its just so much more i could do with just say 100 or 200 more items. havent even glitched that much stuff or something. :c

I think I have that issue with my cottage. Too many additional floors in a small house. I've tried to accommodate it by having a high ceiling right when you enter so that people can adjust their cameras. It's kinda sad that anyone would have to do that just to visit a house. I get sick in first person mode so I can understand.
