No. Youre using meta-reasons why an alt that the game treats as a unique individual in world should have access to things.
Yes. Because from my point of view this is an entirely meta issue.

Short of Mogstation items in of themselves and a few exceptions, the game overwhelmingly treats every character as their own person, not an avatar of the player. As a point, youre not gonna have the "Ultimate Legend" title at level 15 and havent even done one dungeon yet.
Yet with NG+ I can do this. Yet I can functionally do identical to this by grabbing GLD and hitting up Sastasha.

You may have worked the keyboard, but to the world your avatar inhabits, 'you' dont exist, they do. Pretty much think of htis like a DnD campaign. If you roll a character that gets accolades for an accomplishment, rerolling a new character for whatever reason in that campaign will not net you those accolades. Youll be treated as a brand new person.
The difference between this and a DnD session is me re-rolling the character doesn't restart the campaign, and there is the distinct possibility of the re-roll getting the old character's gear. So there are already big differences between this and your example; that said, I already boldly stated my point of view that the character is an avatar for me--you know, the part you quoted and said "No. Meta points of view don't count."

From a business standpoint, you want that nice achievement on your alt, then grind and gear and work it out on your alt. Spend that time, as it's money in SEs pocket. They dont owe you access to achievements on alts. It's a convenience you want for purely personal reasoning. From a business standpoint, it would be a detriment to them to just hand over that feature to you.
You're absolutely right. I also pay extra money for the privilege of having an alt. Likewise, with this reasoning, there are no exceptions, even the ones that are generally agreed to be 'okay' to be account-wide, like mogstation: spend the extra money, get the mogstation items that they want.

It feels like you both read my post and didn't. Melichoir was on the mark saying it's meta reasoning. One thing that is in common with all of your characters no matter what, unless you're breaking ToS, is you, the player. As stated in the post, if you look at it from the meta perspective of the player having done the work, not the character, then the statement "Why have Saber Maxwell work hard and Vergil Maxwell get the rewards?" when, from my point of view, me the player is both of them.
