You built the wall and balmung paid for it. Thanks Yoshida.

Im confident there will be random events, achievements, a title or buffs that will actually boost the gain of skybuilder scrips for helping out low pop servers, such as the road to 60 buff when transfering to a prefered world. It shouldnt be so difficult to implement nice incentives for traveling to another world with your mats/collectibles and delivering them to the NPC.Yeah, with the difference that on Odin, which is the fastest EU server in this restoration, FEW contributions from A LOT of crafters are gonna get you everything done in a week ^^ On our server, on the other hand, it's gonna take A LOT of contributions from FEW people, which in the long run can become not fun at all and just burn us out. In their post SE even recognized there is a disparity in the number of crafters/gatherers, so why not address that too right away?
But hey, I guess scaling the needed points on the population servers was too much to ask.
I am quite happy that they locked the fate farmers out. Ignoring the reward (which should be halved, because it's too much for the "effort"), it makes no sense that the people from other servers should be building our city for us. Twintania has plenty of native crafters, even being small new server, so we can complete the task by our own hands without the pity support. The best part of the event is building something that will last going forward, you will always see the places where you helped to raise the buildings up, and the wanderers were ruining those memories by locking our people out of the zone. Would be great if the change could stay for good.
The main reason why the Party Finder is not working for the harder content and so many groups disband after few wipes is caused by the players who ignore the comments.
Getting to the phase XYZ once does not mean you are ready to join parties to do XYZ.
Parties should spend most of the time doing the phase that is written in the comment not trying to get there.
I mean, you’re wrong and keep repeating this, but you probably won’t listen to actual data and keep pushing the “Crystal BAD everyone run!” meme. The LuckyBancho census says otherwise.

I seriously hope that's gonna happen. Still I don't think it's fair we have to work more and be penalized for choosing a low pop server.Im confident there will be random events, achievements, a title or buffs that will actually boost the gain of skybuilder scrips for helping out low pop servers, such as the road to 60 buff when transfering to a prefered world. I'm honestly ok with the simplifications. I never picked up a crafter before *because* you had to pick up all of them for the cross class skills and if you don't gather that gets expensive *fast*. No thank you. This patch really, really has destroyed my desire to play the game.
I put all of this effort into leveling my crafting jobs, desynth skills, learning the rotation, etc. In one fell swoop you change my rotations, get rid of the need to have every crafting class leveled, make leveling desynth easy, and make leveling easy. Also, the price of materia that I used to meld my gear is now going to fall enormously.
In addition you made the new content for beginners and glamour seekers, not for serious advanced crafters, which I was expecting because you called it endgame.
You hurt veteran crafters and economy fans in so many ways all at once... There's nothing new to do that adds to progression and now the prices of so many things are ruined. I had 400 Fieldcraft 2 Materia that is now worth 10% of what it was thanks to the changes made.
Ugh.
I was one of the Wanderers trying to help progress smaller pop servers, handing out free mats, sharing information resources, and answering questions for people. I'm always genuinely happy to help people who want and appreciate it. I made new friends yesterday and it was probably the first time in a long while that I've felt like I was playing an MMO with other people for more than just a 30 minute dungeon run.
Honestly, though, seeing most of these responses is very disheartening, and it puts people off from wanting to bust their butt for people who feel entitled to other world's free labor. "Well if you REALLY want to help you should work for us and not expect to be able to share in the fate rewards!". Just sounds bad? That's not actually any better than the people farming fates and not contributing, it's all entitled.
I'm sorry people were locked out, frustrated, and so on, but when you're making these snide remarks about how the help was "unwanted" please remember that mixed in with the fate-train runners you had a lot of people genuinely trying to do something kind (at least on Aether that was the case), some of us also displaced but making the most of it anyway.
For those of you who wanted to go at your own pace and are happy with this change, I genuinely hope you don't end up finding your own words bitter later.
Bull....shit. Every fate that has shown up so far, if I wasn't camping for two hours doing nothing else I didn't get in. You can whine all you want about "oh I was just helping them! Stop complaining about the helpers!" You were there, you were taking up slots that people in that World should be using, you are part of the problem. If you want to stand outside the Firmament and had out advice, good. All the power to you. You still get to.I was one of the Wanderers trying to help progress smaller pop servers, handing out free mats, sharing information resources, and answering questions for people. But guess what....a vast majority of wanderers were taking our slots.
This is a change for the better. It should have been this way from the start.
The simplifications aren't hurting veteran crafters either lol, don't let anyone tell you differently. All they've meant is we've had to rework our macros/rotations (something we do ANYWAY when there's new content I might add), and being an omnicrafter is no longer mandatory. Though I still recommend it because... melding and repairing on all the things! Heck yeah!
And anyway they've explicitly said that endgame content is coming. We just have to build up to it first. Literally! Which I'm looking forward to. Just as much as my overmelding heart is happily enjoying the plunging materia prices! You want to talk about expensive? Guh. Endgame overmelding your crafters/gatherers is friggin' brutal man. I can drop 5 million on that easy. I'll gleefully take advantage of the price plunge to stock up!
