Yes, but there is an unfortunate habit that some small groups of people tend to take sub sets and use it as a representation of all or hold them up as an example to complete disprove a point rather than addressing the nuance.

There are averages for a reason, and the average male and average female have broad characteristics that are different from one another (Hip/waist ratios, hip heights/widths, leg lengths, shoulder and back widths, facial structure differences, height, weight distribution, muscle and bone mass and density, etc). And these characteristics are not inherently sexual. While you may have more effeminate males or masculine females, this grouping doesnt make up the majority or near majority as the distribution of body types is not linear, but a bell curve. While there is nuance and that there are some men and women who would benefit from clothing typically tailored to the opposite sex, it is not in such numbers that would really dispute my point.

As I said, most people do not understand that some clothes are designed to accentuate features on typical males or females and that when applied to the opposite sex, it does not work as well. If people want to dress in a certain manner of clothes that are tailored for the opposite sex, more power to em. Ive no problem with that, but it's fair to point out that its not going to look as flattering on a certain sex if its not designed for it. Case and point, 2Bs outfit on Hrothgar or Roe does not look great, but if people want it, cool. All of the clothing should be wearable by both sexes in the game, regardless if it looks bad to do so or not. More power to the individual and more options for people.

And to reiterate, the only issue Ill end up having is if they start designing all glamours and outfits as gender neutral - a design thought process that almost always ends up removing feminine accentuations from the designs and favoring a masculine type and build.

I remember this was an issue in Heavensward with the primal gear sets.... everything with high heels and boob windows even on male character models...

It does cut in reverse at times. Though heals is more a gothic aristocracy feel which, I think, was what they were aiming for.

IMO for better or worse, FFXIV does a decent job at creating a diverse set of glamours that go both ways. It's not perfect, but I cant fault the devs for trying and improving. Not everything is a winner but thats ok IMO. Win a few, lose a few, do better overtime.

We might be thinking of different sets.... the one I'm referring to was VERY feminine and not at all gothic aristocracy
