Every female toon already gets more customization than males since every female toon has a breast slider. Facial hair could be seen as the counterpart to that character customization option.

itt: people assume if X didn't happen Y would have assuredly happened instead.
Unisexing gear just needs 3 resizes to make female gear fit males and 1 resize for male gear to fit females. No wheels need reinventing. Think of this in the same vein as the Hroth & Viera getting glasses/circlets- small adjustment that can be done in "free" time. I want more hairstyles for my Viera (especially the ones I paid $ for) but this is apples & oranges.
Based on how every other aspect of the creator's customization seems to be mirrored somehow in every race, males would then get an extra slider for any further customization tabs.

Facial hair, though, likely wouldn't be a slider or even a separate option.
Races that already can have beards and stubble just have it as a facial option in the same category as adding or removing scars from the face. I was just throwing out there that the option added to have facial hair for men doesn't automatically mean another customization option needs to be added for women, especially when women already have additional character customization options.
I am quite happy that they are doing it. Right now we got like one dozen items that are changed, this is probably not much in terms of ressources. I mean some of their employees changed quite a big amount of headgear for Hrothgar and Viera in their spare time.
IMO stuff like Eureka or Diadem 2.0 was much more a waste of ressources to me then a couple of glamour options that give people more to wear.

I'm super happy with the gender restrictions being lifted.
For me, I'm mostly interested in other things like boots, shorts, etc, it doesn't have to be dresses.

Good point.
I'd never put any of my characters in "the bunny suit", but I do appreciate having the rabbit ears and plain cloth wristbands that happen to be part of it.
The Expeditioner sets are already on the same track, with the gloves and both designs of boots being gender-neutral even though the shirts and pants aren't (for now).

This 2B outfit is the first reward I've ever thrown away in this game. Why couldn't they make the coffer give the 9S outfit to male characters opening it?
