That's a good question actually. Part of me wonders if the males' ears would default have 'damage' on them or something. I'm curious on if the body of the mViera would also have damage to it as well. Like scars? Seems unlikely but they did say they're kind of staying true to the old games lore. Which has the males going through some harsh sh*t. It'd be nice to have that reflect on them.

I wouldn't object to them having 'scar' patterns; you know where its a sacred rite of passage and sign of manhood in some tribes where they have 'tattoos' that are actually just self-inflicted scarring. They're pretty damn intense.

Body? Probably not. Facial options? Sure. Ears? No way.

I keep my expectations low. If they did come out, maybe one or two good faces. One hideous one, and one young one.

Possibly in their next MMORPG. Definitely not this one. Believe it.

I still think ESO's creator sucks. The characters just look weird. Luckily the armor and stuff looks great, and you can actually craft it in-game, but they have milked customization options like crazy in the cash shop/loot boxes (hair, makeup, etc.). The only thing it does good are proportions, in my opinion. Otherwise everyone pretty much looks the same. You can make them fatter or slimmer fairly well.

I actually don't like BDO's, I think it's too free. You end up with people with literal clown characters. Literally It ruins my immersion, no joke. Personally, I'd like a great creator within the bounds of the game world/lore. Without it going too overboard. Not to mention BDO has that like 10 yo girl character out now or whatever, which is also beyond creepy. Not gonna lie though.. I liked the creator enough to buy outfits for it... My dark knight back then not the little girl!

In this game unfortunately with how limited the creator is, what we see is what we get. So, I think optional body scars/chest hair or whatever is probably out of the question, permanent sure. Now if we could get some male outfits, that were just scars that could work. Like how some have tattoos.

Agreed on BDO's. As much as I like options, I also don't like them to be unbounded. I do think each race should be distinctive in how it can look. Where this game lacks is more to do with the body types and the texture resolution.
