No, it wasn't confirmed. It'll happen if the development team manage to overcome the hurdles in their path but there's no guarantee.

Afraid not, Matsuno the creator of Ivalice and head writer for RtI in ffxiv has been coming up with ideas for them which is hopeful but nothing more than that
