I have a feeling they will avoid any questions that shows people are unhappy with the game in any way since this isnt a live letter, but a convention.

I think they will focus on lore, design, and joke questions and continue to ignore healers

(I don’t expect this to get answered, but I’d like to raise the idea). SE, can we please have a live letter/Q&A/something devoted to healers? There are a lot of healers with questions right now. Based on the like ratio on this thread, more than there are players who want to hear about story/world related things. We posted our questions for the live letter and the majority of them did not get answered, and I feel bad posting healer questions here when I don’t think it’s the appropriate place, but having an appropriate place to post them would be great.

Being rude to the devs won't get us any changes. Spamming them with questions in the wrong places will annoy them and make them less likely to actually pay attention to us. What we need is strength in numbers, upvoting the same few posts (I recommend Billy's on page 1):

Why were you so dismissive to the healer community in your live letter, despite the numerous concerns with the current iteration of healers?

Can we expect any significant changes to healers this expansion other than simple potency changes

Hopefully if we show that we are here and we want answers, but we're not going to be rude about it, we can get a place where we can post all our concerns for them to attend to without being rude about it (which is what I'm asking for). What's more, people who aren't healers are less likely to tune into a Q&A/live letter/whatever that's specifically about healer concerns, therefore the devs can talk about the problems with healers without losing face in front of a wider audience.

I got a bit angry when I get reminded the previous Q&A session. Just to be clear, there was sometimes a Q&A session that's dedicated to a single category(Soken's session for example). The previous one was general, but the questions picked by staff are lore for the majority.

Some of the answers were:
"I will let the writer answer it in our future Q&A live letter."

So a lore dedicated Q&A session is already planned, and yet questions picked by staff are mostly about lore......

I lost interest with the live letter stream few questions after job adjustment segment was over, which was surprisingly short.

I do hope they know about whole healer role situation. The question is how fast they gonna respond. My tank queue are getting worst during off peak time that's not midnight.

I suspect they are aware of the discontent (though an acknowledgment would be nice); however, I also suspect that they don't have any clear plans for what to do about it, so for now they are staying silent and letting things play out...

As bad as it sounds, the game has grown a lot with Shadowbringers, so from a pure numbers perspective if the Healer drop-off isn't big enough to cause a major disruption (which, honestly, it hasn't been) then from their perspective the current Healer design is 'fine', or at least not something that needs to be urgently addressed (as any major change is going to annoy those who do like the current design).
