Yeah, for what it's worth, I don't really care about the fairy gauge much either. I'm just saying—it actually takes some work to build up, even if the work is largely automatic, so it's marginally more upsetting to lose it when dying than the aetherflow.

Actually, I think that may be the reason I don't care about the fairy gauge. Aetherflow is generated easily by a single ability; the complicated part is in the spending, where you can use it on a lot of different abilities. The fairy gauge is the opposite way—it's generated by multiple abilities, but spent on only one (well, two now). I guess I find resource-spending more interesting than resource-building, so I prefer the aetherflow way.
