Was just an honest question that I thought had a legitimate answer somewhere that I might have missed. Thanks for answering with your assumption and turning it into some nice public intellectual bullying

Didnt turn it into anything. Theres 19 pages of questions and 70% of them are demands that thier class get addressed quite a few of them in beyond childish ways. all I did was point out the title and copy paste the first post on the topic. to point out that yeah theres the topic there what the questions are supposed to be about.

Then dont be surprised or even remotely upset when your healer demands and questions aren't responded to. There is a proper time and place for everything in trying to hijack things for yourself you just ensure that your problems and issues get pushed farther and farther down the priority list. By being polite and following proper procedure and showing that you respect others allotted time as well you ensure that your own issues will get addressed and usually alot quicker. Personally I wish they'd just give you guys demanding things be changed your buttons back at a low potency so you could have your "engaging" rotation back but then I'm certain there'd be a complaint thread about the damage then.

(I don’t expect this to get answered, but I’d like to raise the idea). SE, can we please have a live letter/Q&A/something devoted to healers? There are a lot of healers with questions right now. Based on the like ratio on this thread, more than there are players who want to hear about story/world related things. We posted our questions for the live letter and the majority of them did not get answered, and I feel bad posting healer questions here when I don’t think it’s the appropriate place, but having an appropriate place to post them would be great.

Regarding Ast Design:
Before 5.0 Ast was a valid resource with many buffs and synergies compared to the other healers, his design was balanced with the lack of powerful pure healing or shielding skills and lesser mp regeneration which forced ast community to use the lucid dreaming + celestial opposition combo
5.0 healers rework was finalised to let all the healers bring the same amount of dps or buff dps but did not changed ast design in terms of power/ effort compared to the other ones.
Right now, indeed, Ast needs more effort to shine like whm/sch, cards new design keeps the player so busy, especially on savage tiers, and lack of MP regeneration skills forced ast to meld more piety than other healers and nocturnal sect seems so weak compared to diurnal right now.
Now that you clarified that you do not intend to rework card system or similar, are there any plans to optimise these aspects ?
