It was not fun to tiptoe around mobs for 20 levels, avoiding sight aggro, sound aggro, blood aggro, etc, while you made your way to wherever it is you were going. It was just tedious and felt like a waste of time. The punishments were an annoying inconvenience. People ask for these kinds of things to apply to our normal overworld all the time, because it isn't immersive or challenging enough, and I say Eureka is that way, have fun, because that kind of overworld in this day and age isn't fun or immersive, it's a boring inconvenience that nobody has the time for.
