Cool, I don't queue for MSQ roulette because I hate Praetorium. Perhaps we need to see fewer people using these roulettes exclusively to level.Let's be real here : if there was a chance dun scaith or level 70 raids would pop in the alliance raid roulette then there is no freaking way that I d queue for it. Seeing people manage to wipe in CT1 I simply don't want to spend 2 hours in level 70 raids when I m only running this roulette for xp.
Why would you queue for alliance raid roulettes if not for leveling purposes ? The reason why SE buffed those roulettes is because nobody were doing them without the massive xp gain (you can still find all the posts about new players complaining about the waiting times for CT1 on the forums).
And I also hate praetorium since CS became unskippable but it is still the most efficient XP gain in the game after level 50 currently.

Efficiency. Optimal. When given the opportunity, players will optimize all fun out of the game. Why would you queue for alliance raid roulettes if not for leveling purposes ? Civ's designers call it "water finds a crack."
It's the designer's job to take away the most egregious examples, to save players from themselves.
I'm saying the roulettes are poorly designed in their current form. Abuse of that design by removing gear is the specific component of that design that shows its failure.

Well I'm sorry but ending up in dun scaith, rabanastre, the ridorama lighthouse or Ordonne monastery with a pick up group doesn't fall in my description of "fun". Especially when in ordonne monastery there is a very high probability that the raid will disband or time out on the thunder god.
And I'm far from being the only one with this opinion seeing the moans we get in FC chat when someone is unlucky enough to get those raids in their roulette.

I craft for both profit and my craft. Those extra Goetia come in handy. Plus I actually like the higher level raids because they actually require my brain to be turned on. Getting LotA/Syrcus all the time is snore enduing. I've literally fallen asleep through them. They'll just so damn boring. Why would you queue for alliance raid roulettes if not for leveling purposes ? Regardless, what I find rather ironic is several people in this very thread have insisted "don't do the MSQ roulette if you can't handle cut scenes" whenever that topics comes up yet they'll happily let those same newer players loiter in hour long queues for Riorana or Rabanastre because you might get a bad run that wastes your time.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
It is more than "might" when it comes to dun scaith or above raids, and I speak from experience. Anso, when you come back from work during an evening and want to do all roulettes on your job you're currently leveling and/or have responsabilities to attend to outside the game, you don't want to spend 2 hours in a bad Ordonne run that fails because there are clueless people in the raid whom you absolutely cannot do anything to make them understand the mechanics or play better.Regardless, what I find rather ironic is several people in this very thread have insisted "don't do the MSQ roulette if you can't handle cut scenes" whenever that topics comes up yet they'll happily let those same newer players loiter in hour long queues for Riorana or Rabanastre because you might get a bad run that wastes your time.
Furthermore, I really don't think getting dun scaith or above raid leads to a good goetia ratio. Because in the time required to complete these raid you can simply run several 4 men dungeons. And I fail to see the connection between the MSQ roulette and the raid roulette, in one case there are 0 chances the run would fail and you are handsomely paid for your time. In the second there is a chance you ll waste 2 hours without anything to show for it and without gaining anything better than when you run 15 minutes CT2.
Good thing that's clearly not the point of view of SE.Cool. Fewer people should run that roulette, especially if they want to freeload.
