Alliance Roulette problem

Every time I go in there its usually either Sycrus Tower or Labyrinth of the Ancients and most of the time its because people are lowering their item levels by taking gear off just so they can avoid anything from World of Darkness and above. I've done alliance roulette almost everyday since Shadowbringers came out and aside from the two raids I mention the only other ones I've gotten are Dun Scaith one time and Orbonne Monastery one time. I do get void ark or World of Darkness once in awhile but I get Sycrus Tower or Labyrinth of the Ancients so much that I'm sick of it and I'm just wanting to avoid the roulette at that point. Sure its quicker and for the same EXP but it gets so boring doing it over and over again and being level 50 is not a fun part of the game anymore once you hit level 60+. What are all your opinions on this?

I get that and that's fine it just the people who lower the item level that really makes this an issue.

It is really rare I don't see a bonus when I doing my runs. People who are lowering gear, it can happens, but not that often. Most of time if not everytime, I see the first timer bonus. And I'm the first to be surprised.

Now if you have the proof then yeah, I agree you’re seeing a problem. WoW had this during one expac and they patched in a method to examine you based on the top gear in all your bags...

But let’s prove that accusation first.

While it's not a huge problem but when you start say a LoTA/ST run you'll see people's HP magically regenerating but you just joined the raid meaning they cheesed their ilvl to get in, I think OP is just saying that the people who do this (that want the path of least resistance while leveling) just wanna get in and get out but it means that variety goes out the window. Is there new people going into ST and LoTA? Yes not denying that but there are people who just want LoTA and especially ST because you can do it in 12 mins.

The game takes a snapshot of your ilvl when you register for duty, so there's no need to stay in that gear until you enter the zone.

That's not what I'm saying at all, you can be lvl 70, remove gear to get under ilvl 50-70 and get LoTA/ST unlike MSQ dungeons which have no ilvl restrictions, Alliance raid roulette does so as long as you're between ilvl 50-70 you'll either get: LOTA or ST its a coin flip then swap to your full gear when you get inside. When there's ilvl checks for Alliance roulette and not MSQ dungeons you know somethings not right.

Alliance raids are considered end game while the MSQ is not end game.

People run this for the tomes/xp. Most people don't want to spend 30+ mins in there.
