how about make dungeons harder that need more healing insted giving more dps tools for healers ?Mate, if you based this game purely on healing, you would be doing nothing 80% of the time. is scholar balanced? I guess, it's strong as ever, but it's boring, THAT'S the problem. We just want to be engaged not use indom then suck our thumbs until we need to use our next oGCD 60 seconds later.
So switch to pure healers, sure that COULD work, but then SE would drive away the casual healers. Look at Aurum bale, bardams mettle, any time a dungeon is actually a difficult heal check, people wipe, healers and tanks get frustrated. If dungeons were made to be constantly interesting to healers by making them heal more I'd be fine with it, I could handle it, but casual players couldn't. SE wants to draw in as many people as possible, so making the game actually really difficult, and pushing healers so they're engaged would make casual players not want to play that role, not everyone wants to "git gud" which is what is required for pure healers. (In games that are meant for pure healers. ) That's why they need more dps options, or not even dps options, just something to do while not healing, so those of us that choose to "git gud" or learn to optimize our class arent left with nothing to do, but the more casual people can still play how they choose and be fine.
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
