    I got a Mogblade tonight and this thing is really bad. The proc heals roughly 1/5 of your autoattack damage when it procs. There is no way this thing would ever, ever be worth equipping over a Winglet with hate materia while in a group.

    On the plus side it does look neat so it's probably best in slot for idling in town while trying to get materia melded onto an actual good sword.

    Agree with that, Moogle weapons were really poorly itemized, Noctis can ignore it all he wants but these weapons are more like trophies than useful pieces of equipment.

    A lot of them are, I don't deny that. With the way accuracy works right now in a party you barely miss anyway so they're useless for DDs. The blade is viable however, and some GLAs prefer using it. The mogstaff is also viable for THM as they favor m.acc so their spells don't get resisted.

    Furthermore, with the devs having said they're looking into having the additional effects on the weapons proc on attack spells as well, the mage weapons are looking even better.

    You mean the THM weapon, CNJ doesn't require MP back on damage they need it on healing.

    My biggest problem with U/U at the moment is the lack of healing stats, I duno who comes up with this kind of itemization, a monkey perhaps ?

    They're thematic - I'm sure you noticed. They don't get individual stats.

    Each weapon set giving class specific stats would cause a lack of variety and in turn escalation. Most people don't think that far ahead though. I can understand the frustration of CNjs because the two sets released thus far were both DPS focused. More primals to come however, and since the WHM set, including weapon, will be healing focused and CNJ will become more of a light party and solo choice the DPS weapons may be more appreciated then.

    I've gone over the finer details of gear balance and variety in an earlier post.

    I'm hoping that sometime soon they will at least allow one and ONLY one materia to unique/untradeable items. Allowing more than that would be quite overpowering. As it stands currently a majority of this armor is town gear, or crap. If they allow players to meld at least one, then more players will flock to it, and get it. This still allows for those who have a lot of money, and have a lot of confidence to make better gear. However those of us who would rather do content can settle for a slightly lower end set of gear but ultimately still be quite good.

    I fear that the job armor, and all future untradeable/unique gear will be worthless. I don't want Dragoon armor to be town gear Yoshi-P ; ; It looks so good.

    Hopefully a Rep can get some feedback from Yoshi on whether or not we will ever be able to put at least 1 on them.

    If your damage dealers aren't holding themselves back then I feel bad for you since you clearly are working with piss-poor damage dealers.
