Hi OP, this content has been available (with early access) for three weeks, but the time to level up and complete the story has to be factored, along with (most) people having lives.

Would you not agree that your situation is somewhat marginal?

Absolutely... but it doesn't change the situation until 5.1.

A lot more players will start feeling the content pinch once they catch up.

But, again, Savage comes out in 12 days.

The content is being intentionally staggered so that people have time to do everything while balancing work, family, hobbies, other non-endgame content and even other games.

Other players shouldn't feel the content pinch if they have any experience with FFXIV because this is how the game is, has been and will be.

Absolutely and I understand staggering the content. But as I mentioned, even with the addition of 4 boss fights doesn't come close to what other MMORPG's have as standard end game.

Might I suggest you go play one of those other MMORPGs then? FFXIV doesn't have to cosplay as WoW to be good, indeed better, it already does that just by being itself.

Clearly you are looking for an experience the game doesn't offer and, after years of the formula, will never offer.

Why does the suggestion always come straight to "Play something else", instead of constructively considering, that maybe after all these years the formula is getting a bit stale. Maybe its time to add something more. The game isn't the same as it was since ARR and shouldn't confined to being as such.

If you don’t have the mounts already, you can get to 99 tokens and buy them a few patches down the line. Probably around 5.3. Otherwise, you can keep farming for the mounts. That tends to be what keeps people going back into the Extremes. Not really the gear, since it becomes obsolete so fast.
