The most famous man who is at zero body fat, his muscles are like metal coils that press against the skin. It isn't that appealing because of the artery/veins that tend to show. Men are not supposed to go lower than 2 per cent body fat. However, a hunter-gatherer who trains every single day etc is not going to retain fat, as they will burn off the stores almost instantly. It's more than likely why their training regime is so strict. A male Viera can't afford to not eat. But this is if we're going by human standards. Viera are not human. Nor have we seen that they can breed with humans and have children. Looking at past lore we know they have some sort of different biology.
And of course, the muscles make sense. Seeing as in boxing they are strength trainers, not bodybuilders.
