Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

We still don't have a single new hairstyle for viera. I wouldn't hold out hope.

Well, I must say female viera and male hrotgar are extremely dissapointing themselves. I just hope that both you and us can by please by when 6.0 comes, but after seeing how SE is managing their decission making lately I too wouldnt hold out too much hope. At least I do like female miqo'te so shrug*

This is a new look for you. I remember you as a midlander dude in makeup and dresses, but miqo'te female is a good look too.

Even with new hairs they don't have support for viera, nor with outfits. They seem to give the minimum effort possible when it comes to viera/hrothgar. Maybe they will surprise us one of these patches with some big viera/hrothgar update..

Please add Male Viera! Even though people are complaining about the hairstyles for female Viera, the overall response to female Viera have been great. I would venture to say that the addition of male Viera would be similar! Thanks for all your hard work devs!

The lore excuse does bug me, especially considering there are Viera on the first and on the source. So... Viera society in alternate dimensions advanced exactly the same in their relations between the males and females with no difference? I find that a little hard to believe. Especially in light of a world destroying calamity. =/

Yeah, the lore reasoning behind it all does feel pretty weak. At least there's a precedent for lore being adjusted and changed over time so if they are added, it can be tweaked. Given how much the development team seem to be struggling with the existing Hrothgar and Viera, though, it's looking like the missing genders won't be added anytime soon.

I am honestly not surprised that they did not change much with the races on the shard..one would believe that after thousands of years apart and having a shard that does not get reset all the time there would be a lot of differences.

Races with different structures and looks (only the beast tribes are seemingly allowed to look a bit different), way more technology since we only dont have that because of the constant calamities, different clothing styles, different languages...

Yet even the scions fit perfectly in it and can understand everyone..we see so many clothes that we also have on our source..barely any technologies and of course they suddenly take "Gil" as the new currency..

They could have truly shown this to us as an "alien" world that is that much different from ours..but they did not, which imo is also partly because that would be too much work..

Just think the rage of players if the first used a currency called "lig" instead of gil. "My whole wallet is wasted! Why would I use gil now?" That for a kind soul, use creativity for foul language.
