I like it! Given how they're described as acting and the sort of lifestyle they lead I can envision them as looking like that. It's pretty close to the beefier concept art too - especially if there's a few sliders to play around with as a compromise.

Huh? What is with the hostility here? I was just saying I restrict my character to only wearing heels for lore reasons, you misunderstand me. I'm sorry for trying to have a little continuity. You can't switch them off if you are following your own lore guidelines. Similar to how people won't RP with "male" viera. Can u tell me why are u so unbelivably rude to me every single time I post? It's honestly not even funny? Specially after when you were the one getting attacked by everybody I was one of the ppl defending u, I'd really like if u could please stop, because this makes absolutely no sense. Your sarcasm is completely unnecessary, and yes, in lore, viera must wear high heels all time, but SE didnt do it because of resources. Then, that is exactly the type of male viera u and many other ppl have been asking for?
Yeah, that is pretty much exactly how I envision male viera. Extremely lore friendly too, and would probably make the most sense here.

Oh ok then, sorry I misunderstood you, with all of the negativity on this thread its very easy to missunderstand ppl sometimes, I apologizeHuh? What is with the hostility here? A loincloth? Heck yes! Maybe some conan-esque racial gear or a custom hempen set! I'm thinking that as a warrior, or something it would be super cool. It would even be amazing for a sneaky assassin or a bard! Tough and manly, with the ability to also be agile and quick! To be honest, I would be tempted to play a male viera if they looked like that. Sorry, when they look like that.

Aren't the males aggressive against each other as well? I swear I recall something where they compete with one another for food, space etc. That does seem rather wolverine like. Male Viera just don't like people it seems. I always wondered why they shunned the villages so much as well. Even in times of hardship where they have every given right to return to repopulate. Like with the Vii incident. And yet they didn't. Do you think the males actually arbour some sort of negativity towards the females? To the point where they don't even try to see out the most basic of pleasure of being with someone else?
Just how emotionally numb are these men? What happens to those little boys that are taken from their homes - some more than likely against their will - to be thrust into that life? Honestly, if I was a male Viera I would hate the villages with a passion, unless of course, it's some sort of weird indoctrination, or perhaps the males are tempered? And that's what the males final test is all about... maybe the males are tempered? Would make sense that if a male who isn't tempered (has the echo) is sent out of the wood to aid in the protection of it, since the wood spirit they communicate with has been seen as benevolent, she is also the 'mother' of the wood and seems to be some sort of representation of the 'life of the wood' 'mother of life/wood'.
Of course, that speculation comes from the whole -
The wood the Viera live in being the location where information about Mother Crystal and Zodiark is located. As to mirror what happened in the first.

I was thinking that they could go for a conan style hempen set and a more elegan racial or viceversa to appeal to everybody, but, if I had to choose only 1, I'd rather get the conan set, since I think it does fit them better. Also, I'm glad to hear you'll be tempted to join our ranks come male viera are releasedA loincloth? Heck yes! Maybe some conan-esque racial gear or a custom hempen set! The males are treated like complete BS, so I completely get why they likely hate the females and dont wanna go near them. If I was treated like that though, I'd be like, k, wood say whatever u want Im leaving this place, and I would basically probs hold a grudge against most females. It'll be quite interesting if male viera are a part of the next expansion's MSQ, to see how they react to female vieras, or heck, maybe even females of other racesAren't the males aggressive against each other as well? Indoctrination and/or strong belief in this spirit of the Wood is what I imagine makes them go along with it all.
