Kinda arbitrary though?, ERPers don’t tend to do it in public and is not an indicator of a bad player or a toxic person. Sure it may be a bit weird to most people, but eh, I don’t see them doing no harm and to each their own. Even as an RPer who isn’t a part of the ERP community this isn’t a problem I run into, so I expect even less of a problem for everybody else. Maybe I’ve only ran into it once in the many years I’ve played this game, where somebody was publically ERPing.

The problem lies with the fact its just people on alts pretending to be RP'ers to Troll. Like they make a stereotypical character (or what they think the FFXIV rp'ers RP) and do it to troll.

If you ever see public ERP that is so describing that you can tell what they have under their smallclothes, report it instead and do the entirety of Balmung a favor, no one likes public ERPers, not even other ERPers.
