It even telegraphs in the normal mode. No reason to be an idiot, tbh.
The "telegraphs" are pretty much useless when they are shown for a fraction of a second.

SB did this a lot, and I really don't understand why. It might as well just show nothing anyway. Unless a move has like Bahamut's Teraflare-style graphics that cover the whole screen (which usually they don't, if they only hit a designated area), it's not that difficult to tell more or less where a move hits after the fact. The direction of Omega's laser during the animation is all you really need to know whether you screwed up or not.

How about if you get hit with it, you make a note of what hit you, when, and what it was called? Like, look at the castbar... "Ah shit, Larboard? What's that?" you get hit by standing left. "oh, it hits on the left side of the boss, since my buddies on the right side are okay, Guess I have to stand to the right of the boss when he does Larboard, neat". Problem solved. That's what blind progging is. How do you think people MAKE guides? They get hit with things they have no idea what they are, make a note of what they do, read debuffs, and make a note to change things until the sequence is done right. That's how learning happens. So if someone still doesn't know a mechanic and what it does theoretically after like, four times... I gotta question their ability to reason.

So that if you didn't understand from the words that Larboard = Left, you very clearly see from the telegraph that Larboard = Left, and dodge accordingly next time.

Remember how we started getting a ton of vuln mechanics as well, so that you have a chance to learn from the first couple failures instead of being killed outright? Same logic.
