You mean because the content is too easy? These threads surface on here periodically... this is nothing new. For the most part it's the same old tune the game is too easy and needs to be made harder. I think the development team knows exactly what it's doing and won't cater to that mindset. If you want harder content do the extremes and savage and ultimate content and leave the regular content for most who play this game and who are more than happy with it.

If we extend this analogy perhaps you can see the issue? What we have here is people saying they want the easy 90% of the game to be like the hard 10% of the game but at the same time they don't actually play the hard 10% or seem to have any interest in the hard 10%. Instead they say for some reason the hard 10% doesn't really count and that they will only enjoy the game when the easy 90% they actually play is made hard.

It is true that most of the game isn't very hard, but then a large majority of players do not want a very hard game.
For those who do want a challenge, there is always the Savage and Ultimate fights - that's why they exist.

I just hope one day we get like harder 4 man content like higher up dungeons, but they've said they have all hands tied, hopefully with the new load of players and how successful shadowbringers seems to be financially they may finally get a bigger team...

jk they won't, though I will be pleasantly surprised if they ever did.

So I decided to look up OP's records.

...You haven't actually done any of the Savage raids. So I'm not sure you're really qualified to be saying that the game is too easy, when you haven't stepped foot into the hardest content the game has to offer.

I came from a game that pretty much had nothing but raids to look forward to at endgame. Since then, I've come to view FFXIV's apparent, uh, casual-ness as a necessity for maintaining growth in the community. My previous game stagnated hard, because when you make a raid-oriented game, it turns out that eventually growth just stops because the established raid community acts as their own entry barrier. Whether it be cliques, expectations, or even market manipulation. A game centered towards raids more or less means you can't really get anything worthwhile done if you don't play in the same peak hours as the majority of the raiding community either.

I kind of want to play that now.

I have played a game like that, Silkroad online, i just hit level 20 and bought my lvl 20 weapon, sold my lvl 15 weapon and died to teh first mob i engaged due to a DC, i leveled down to 19 and could no longer use my 20 weapon and i didn't have enough money to buy a weaker weapon so i had to punch mobs and spam potions just to get my lvl back. It was an experience for sure.
