Ok, so someone needs to explain this to me:

What is the core complaint - That the jobs are identical, or that they functionally are similar but have different means of playstyle?

Let me try to explain the difference. Identical jobs have the same skill, just renamed. It does the same thing, behaves the same way, gives the same output. Jobs that function similar but have different play style means they end up doing the same thing, but how you play them differs. As an example, Both Dragoon and Monk are DPS, but how they play is different. They are not reskins of one another (save a weapon change).

Cause this is the part Im not understanding. Are they actually reskins where everything is identical, including playstyle. Or are they different jobs that end up achieving the same goal? Cause if its the former, I can understand that complaint. If it's the latter, not so much, cause then its like saying monk and dragoon are the same jobs but reskins! I think thats a silly argument to make. So could someone clear that up?
