It's really a bizarre phenomenon that people purchase a game... but then do NOT want to PLAY that game. Like, can you imagine this in any other era of gaming? People were forced to go through the game from the beginning each time they began a save file. The juicy good parts were spaced throughout the game, to give you rewards and encouragement to keep playing, in a gameplay loop. You can't have every moment of a game be as good as Aerith dying in FF7, or fighting Kefka, or any other huge moment in a game. A LOT of games have a grind in them, people don't ask to skip all of that.

What about in Super Smash Ultimate? There's no "Bypass all unlocks and get everything" button. You have to progress through the game and get the unlocks.
